Research – Our activities and competencies

Research looks deeply into things.

To make a long story short: we are dealing with materials with specific functional properties and their applications. Our main areas of research are directed to the topics gas sensors, exhaust gas aftertreatment, ceramic microsystems technology (ceramic MEMS), biosensors (also for gas detection), and materials for energy conversion

For that purpose, we use a variety of technologies and methods. For gas sensors, for instance, the complete process chain to realize of sensors from the scratch including characterization on all levels is available.

We usually conduct research in the form of projects that are funded either by public third-party funding or directly funded by industry, or they have an internal character.

We also offer research services. Please contact us for details

A selection of publicly funded projects (DFG, Bavarian Research Foundation (BFS), BMBF, BMWi) and internal projects can be found under "current projects " or "completed projects". On projects with industry is reported only under certain conditions
